We’re mobile-only by design. No shop, no waiting room. Here’s how the process actually works, from booking to when you can drive.

Common questions

Yes. We’re mobile only. We come to your home, work, garage, parking lot, RV park, or wherever your vehicle is. The ideal spot is a level driveway, garage, or carport, but a low-traffic parking lot or quiet residential street works in most cases. Tell us where you’ll be when you book and we plan around it.
In California, our installer is usually Matt (co-owner) or our founder, who has been installing windshields since 1997. About 90% of California installs are done by family. Occasionally we use a vetted subcontractor for overflow. In Arizona, we use vetted subcontractors who follow our standards and process. In both markets, we’ll tell you the technician’s name in advance and they’ll text you when they’re on the way.
Windshield replacement runs 30 to 60 minutes start to finish, plus one hour of safe drive-away time before you can take the vehicle on the road. Chip repair takes 20 to 30 minutes, drive immediately. Side window or back window replacement runs about an hour. Add 30 to 60 minutes for ADAS calibration if your vehicle requires it (California only).
Same-day for chip repair if we have the schedule open. Next-day for most replacements once your glass arrives. Common windshields are usually in stock locally and ship within 24 hours. Specialty glass (rare imports, motorhomes, glass roofs, some EVs) can take 2 to 5 business days to source. We’ve handled true emergencies the same day, including pre-road-trip jobs called in the night before.
We work with you. Adhesive cure quality is sensitive to extreme temperatures and to rain landing on the bonding surface during install. Best case: we move the vehicle into your garage or under a carport. If you don’t have covered parking, we’ll either reschedule to a better day or meet you at a location with shelter. We’d rather move the appointment than do a compromised install. We handle California winter rain and Phoenix monsoon weather constantly; this is normal.
Call us immediately at (916) 995-9999 (CA) or (480) 855-0123 (AZ) and we’ll figure out what happened. Our technicians text when they’re on the way and call if they’re running late. A no-show is a system failure on our end and it’s rare, but if it ever happens we’ll get someone to you the same day or first thing next business day, and we make it right.
Almost never. We use protective drapes over the dashboard and seats, and our process is designed not to scratch paint or trim. The most common minor issue is dust or debris from removing the old windshield seal, which we vacuum before we leave. If anything is damaged during our install, we cover the repair: that’s what our warranty is for.
In order of best to workable: garage with the door open, carport or covered parking, level driveway, level parking lot, low-traffic residential street. We need the vehicle to stay completely still for the install, so we avoid steep slopes and high-traffic areas. If you’re at work, a back corner of the parking lot works perfectly. We can do most installs without you being present, as long as you’ve left the vehicle accessible.
Absolutely. Many customers do, and our techs are happy to walk you through what they’re doing. It’s a 30-minute window into how a windshield actually goes in. If you’d rather get on with your day, you can leave us with the keys and a way to reach you.
We don’t run a true 24-hour line, but we do handle real emergencies. If your vehicle was just hit by debris and you can’t safely drive home, call us and we’ll work with you. For routine same-day or next-day work during business hours, we’re set up to move fast.
