Aftercare & Warranty FAQs
A windshield install is only finished after the adhesive cures. Here’s what to do in the first 24 hours and how our warranty backs the work for the life of your ownership.

Will my new windshield leak?
Not when installed correctly. We use OEM-grade urethane adhesive, prep the bonding surface to manufacturer spec, and respect the one-hour minimum cure time. Customers regularly come back months later and confirm zero leaks even after heavy rain. One Google review reads: “Going strong eight months later. With the recent rain, no leaks.” Our warranty covers any leak from our installation for as long as you own the vehicle. If you ever spot one, call us.
Will you clean up the broken glass from my old windshield?
Yes. We vacuum any glass particles from the dashboard, seats, floor, and surrounding area before we leave. For side window break-ins (where glass goes everywhere), we do a more thorough vacuum of the door panel cavity, seats, footwells, and trunk if applicable. Customer review: “They cleaned up all the broken glass in the car and garage well.” Cleanup is part of every job, not an extra.
How long should I wait before driving after a windshield replacement?
One hour minimum. We use a fast-cure urethane that reaches safe drive-away strength in about 60 minutes under normal conditions. The technician will tell you the exact time you can drive based on the day’s temperature and humidity. For chip repair and side window replacement, you can drive immediately. Important: avoid slamming doors or going through automatic car washes for the first 24 to 48 hours. Both can stress the new bond before it fully cures.
Will my rearview mirror transfer to the new windshield?
Yes. We remove the rearview mirror from your old windshield, prep the new mounting surface, and re-attach it using the proper adhesive. We let the mirror set before letting the vehicle be driven. If your mirror has integrated electronics (auto-dim, compass, garage opener, lane-departure camera mount), we transfer all of it. Mirror transfer is included in every windshield replacement; never an extra charge.
Can you fix my windshield leak?
Depends on who installed it. If we installed the windshield, leaks are covered under our lifetime workmanship warranty: call us and we’ll come fix it at no charge. If a different shop installed it, we generally won’t try to patch their work because doing so voids their warranty and we can’t stand behind their bond. In that case the right answer is usually a full replacement so you have a clean install (and our warranty) going forward. Send us a photo of the leak area and we’ll tell you the right path.
What's your warranty?
Lifetime workmanship warranty for as long as you own the vehicle. That covers leaks, wind noise, adhesive failure, and any issue that traces back to our installation. The glass itself has a manufacturer warranty against defects. The warranty does not cover new chips or cracks from road debris (that’s a new claim) or damage from collisions. Warranty service is mobile too: if you have a problem, we come back to you.
